Let me preface this by saying this blog will not be about blues music in Red Bank, New Jersey. I’m sorry if that is what you were looking for. It’s about a gal who lives in Red Bank with her fiance and cat. Sometimes she finds living here is a bit of a drag. Hence a case of the “Red Bank Blues”. Okay, that’s enough 3rd person talk.
Don’t get me wrong, Red Bank is a nice town. There’s shops, restaurants, galleries, theater, coffee houses, a nice river park. It’s close to the shore and NYC. It’s home to Kevin Smith for crying out loud. But on the flip side it’s overpriced, uber trendy, and I guess I just don’t get what all the hubbub is about. Perhaps I just haven’t been here long enough. Who knows.
Trials and tribulations, ups and downs, daily life will all be fodder for this blog. My passions and frustrations will be laid out for all to see. I’ll try to keep it pertinent to Red Bank, but I may occasionally go off on a tangent. Strap yourself in, it might be a bumpy ride.
