I’m quite pleased with the selection as of late. In fact, I go every week now. Today I snagged an eggplant, zucchini (2), yellow squash (1), green pepper (1), red pepper (1), yellow/white pepper (1), cucumbers (3), quart of plum tomatoes, and Tuscany peasant bread and strawberry rhubarb pie from the Lithuanian Baker.
Hopefully with my latest produce purchases from the market, I’ll have a recipe to post in my new Food section. ![]()

Have you tried the fresh mozzarella from the guy who also sells pasta and crab cakes? We love it!
Unfortunately, I cannot try the mozzarella as I’m lactose-intolerant. But I can imagine it is amazing! There’s another vendor who sells pepperoni and mozzarella bread as well as sun-dried tomato and mozzarella bread. I’m sure that’s to die for.
Do they have anyone selling pickles at the Farmers Market?
Yes, they do Stevie. Several vendors do, but one in particular sells just pickles and various other pickled veggies. I forget the name, though.
That’s too bad. I’m a pickle vendor in Woodbridge and I sell what I think are the best pickles available. Made on Essex St on the lower east side of NYC. I was looking for another market to sell at, but it looks like this one already has pickles.
