As Red Bank Green so eloquently reports, The Red Bank River Center is sponsoring Dine Downtown, a restaurant promotion in cooperation with 16 downtown dining establishments that feature prix fixe menus (ranging in price from $15-$35) on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings throughout the month of April.
This may be an excellent opportunity not only to try a restaurant I’ve never been to before, but perhaps make it an official Bayshore Friends gathering! Please post if you’re interested, or better yet… join Bayshore Friends and let us know there!
Being a RB resident, I availed myself of Dine Downtown last night…went to DISH and had myself an amazing dinner for $25, which includes a choice of 4 appetizers (a salad is on that list), a choice of 3 entrees, and a choice of 3 desserts. I had the crispy spinach (normally $7), the barbecue salmon (normally ~$23 or more), and a creme brulee (I imagine would normally go for ~$7 or $8). So, I got a nearly $40 meal for $25. And, DISH is BYOB, so we saved that way, too. Two awesome dinners for $50 and a $10 tip? Done!
I encourage everyone to check out Dine Downtown. And no…I don’t work for RiverCenter 🙂
Laura,
Thanks for the report. I have wanted to try Dish for some time! So I think I shall check them out during this promotion. BBQ salmon? I love that! Was it cooked to your liking? I don’t like my salmon overcooked. 🙂
